used a lot "wheels"(we are talking about how the choice occurs in the game weapons And radio stations). And since main characters now there are three, they also have their own wheel. When you switch between them, you "fly over" around the world of the game - and you can find your current ward in an interesting, sometimes even comical, situation.

shift wheel

In free mode, you can switch Anytime(unless you are doing a side mission or avoiding the cops).

Michael, Franklin and Trevor are (usually) shown on the wheel, although there are a couple exceptions.

IN « Prologue» the wheel shows only Michael and Trevor as they looked at the time.

On missions « chop» And « Predator» you can play as Chop, and he is displayed on the wheel.

Fourth "sector" allows you to switch to your character in GTA Online.

Switch animation

When changing characters, the camera switches to a top view, zooms out three times (or less, depending on the altitude you're at), pans to the area the newly selected hero is in, zooms in three times, and then jumps to the so-called "scene switching".

Switch scenes

Characters live each your life- Michael has a wife and children (with whom you will not end up with problems), Franklin spends time walking the dog, saving Lamar from troubles and getting high, and Trevor ... you don’t know what to expect from him.

Therefore, when moving from one character to another, you can find the latter in various situations peculiar to him. Some scenes only take place in certain phases of the plot or specifically after certain missions.

Michael

Michael might be in his mansion during an argument with his wife, next to his therapist's office, or, say, leaving a movie theater complaining about "mainstream films". As the game progresses, these scenes show how is changing his life.

Franklin

Franklin's life in comparison is quite ordinary- he can watch TV, leaving the store with a new portion of weed, playing with Chop, or just standing in traffic. One of the few major changes is that he later moves into a new house on Vinewood Hills.

Trevor

But Trevor's switching scenes are the most interesting and unpredictable. It remains only to guess where and in what condition you will find it. Though you will repeatedly find it drunk, with a bottle of beer in his hand, often in his shorts.

In this case, Trevor may be in any place of the game world: in your trailer, strip club or garbage can. He might be smoking meth, complaining about not being allowed to try on dresses, or throwing someone off a bridge.

The GTA 5 game is distinguished by the presence of a large number of colorful characters. All the main characters of the game can be divided into several categories:

  • protagonists;
  • main characters;
  • central characters.

Protagonists

There are only three GTA 5 characters that are classified as protagonists. The first one to note is Michael De Santa - a former robber who made a deal with the police and went to live a quiet life in a big house with his family.

The second protagonist of the game is called Franklin Clinton. He works for the owner of a luxury car dealership. Franklin is very ambitious. He wants to succeed, so he decides to leave his job and look for happiness elsewhere.

The third character of the GTA 5 game, which belongs to the protagonists, is Trevor Philips. He is very greedy and suffers from mental imbalance. Trevor was a military pilot, but after that he moved to San Andreas, where he opened his own enterprise for the arms and drug trade.

Central and main characters of GTA 5

Lester Crest, Dave Norton, Lamar Davis, Devin Weston and Steve Haynes are all connected in some way to De Santa, Clinton and Philips. Someone is covering up the drug trade using their connections in the police; someone is a billionaire for whom the main protagonists of the game work.

The main characters include members of the family of Michael De Santa, his mutual friends with Franklin, acquaintances of Trevor, as well as businessmen who do business in the city and have a great influence on Trevor, Franklin and Michael.

The main female characters in GTA 5 are represented by Michael's wife and daughter, as well as the vice president of the enterprise, Devin Weston. This woman's name is Molly Schultz.

Michael De Santa

Michael was born in 1965. His family was very poor. The father was an alcoholic and often abused his son. As the game progresses, Michael mentions numerous times that his father was hit by a train. De Santa played football, and he did it pretty well. He was a good defender in his team. Difficult nature along with injury proneness made him retire from football.

His acquaintance with Trevor took place in 1993, when Michael accompanied the transportation of goods on the border of the United States of America and Canada. De Santa kidnapped a civilian. The two of them were spotted by Trevor on the runway. The prisoner thought that the pilot could help him escape, but Trevor killed him by shooting a pistol right in the eye. The corpse was thrown into the lake after Philips and De Santa boarded the plane.

De Santa's victims

During the entire GTA 5 game, the character kills 11 people. Michael's first victim is Jay Norris, whom De Santa Kills so that Lester Crest can continue his illegal business.

Michael strangled another person in the morgue so that he could not turn on the alarm. De Santa's third victim was Tahir Javan. The order to kill Tahir was given by Steve Haynes. The reason for this decision was the alleged connections of Tahir with terrorist organizations.

Walton and Wynn O'Neill were killed for trying to get revenge on Trevor. Another victim was the pilot of Madrazo. He died due to a plane crash caused by De Santa's shooting.

Gianni and Pelosi tried to hunt down and kill Solomon Richards, for which they paid with their own lives. Stretch De Santa was killed for betraying Clinton. In the final mission of the game, Franklin is able to kill Trevor, but fails to blow up the cistern. Finished by Michael. Also, De Santa kills Abigail Mathers after finishing the "Death by the Sea" mission.

Michael De Santa family

Michael has a daughter, Tracy, a son, Jim, and a wife, Amanda. De Santa's wife was previously a stripper in one of the clubs. It is also said that she worked as a prostitute. Trevor and her son Jimmy mentioned it.

Acquaintance with the girl takes place in the prologue of the game during the fake funeral of Michael. The second meeting with her happens at the moment when Franklin is trying to steal Jimmy's car on the orders of his boss. At this time, Amanda was in her kitchen with a tennis coach.

In one of the episodes of the game, Michael saw Amanda having sex with her coach. Michael and Franklin chased the instructor who jumped out of the window.

Jimmy is Michael's youngest child. He was born in 1993. De Santa Jr. often leaves home. His friends are a rabble from the teenagers of the city. The guy is very lazy and uses drugs. He tries to act like a gangster, because he thinks such behavior is cool.

Tracey is Jimmy's older sister. She is the most beautiful character in GTA 5. The girl was born in 1991. Throughout her childhood, she was forced to hide from her father's enemies. At the age of 13, the government placed her and her family in a witness protection program.

The player meets a girl during a mission where Franklin must steal Jimmy's car for the car dealership owner because of the guy's debts. Tracy argues with her brother and goes to her room to talk on the phone.

She had a difficult relationship with her father. In one of the episodes, the girl went to the audition without informing her father or mother about it. But soon Michael found out about it and went to the show with his daughter. After that, their relationship was damaged.

Franklin Clinton

Franklin is another GTA 5 character that the user can play as. He was born in 1988. Throughout his adult life, Clinton tossed between two fires. At first he chose the gangster path. His comrades tried in every possible way to dissuade the guy from this.

Franklin's youth was uneventful. He dealt drugs, participated in street fights and did not study anywhere. Clinton has no family, no girlfriend, no money. The absence of the latter pushed him into the drug trade. In one of the transactions, he was arrested. After the expiration of the term, Franklin decided to give up life in the ghetto.

Franklin's new work

After prison, Clinton made the decision to get out of the position in which he had been throughout his life. He wanted to make money. In this regard, Franklin began to commit robberies in the city. Soon he managed to get a job in one of the luxury car dealerships, which belonged to Simon Etarian, an Armenian millionaire and lover of luxury vehicles.

Clinton's job was to extort money from customers that they owed to the dealership owner. The thing is that the Armenian sold his cars at high interest rates. As a result, the buyers did not have the opportunity to return the debt to Etaryan. Once Frank was recognized by Simon as the best worker of the month in a car dealership.

Lost job at car dealership

One day, Etarian ordered Franklin to deal with one of the debtors. In the course of the assignment, Clinton killed a large number of bandits, and also took the life of the debtor himself. After that, he took his motorcycle. Frank was supposed to return the vehicle to the dealership owner, but he didn't. After such a decision, relations between Yetarian and Clinton began to deteriorate.

The Armenian gave him a new task. Franklin had to steal the car of another debtor. He was the son of Michael De Santa. Clinton got into the car and began to leave, but did not notice that De Santa himself was sleeping in the back seat. He threatened Franklin with a gun and forced Etarayan's car dealership to be rammed with a car. Then he got out of the car and beat the Armenian himself. So Clinton lost his job.

Trevor Philips

Trevor is the last GTA 5 character you can play as. He was born in 1968 in Canada. In his youth, Philips began to suffer from temper tantrums. He couldn't control his anger. Trevor himself talked about how he killed animals when he was a child.

Philips was a good golfer. He talked about winning some tournaments when he lived in Canada. He also wanted to become a pilot and entered the service for this. After some time, he was denied service, as the doctors recognized him as mentally unstable.

Criminal career

Acquaintance with Michael De Santa gave rise to the beginning of Trevor's criminal career. In one of the conversations, Philips says that even despite the fact that he made illegal transportation to earn money, before he met Michael, he did not have any serious crimes.

Phillips' first serious crime was the robbery of a check cashing facility. The operation didn't go quite as planned. The thing is that one of the employees of the point knew the robber.

Over time, Trevor began to doubt Michael. De Santa started a family with Amanda and became very attached to his two children. All this infuriated Philips. He believed that De Santa became softer. Some time later, Phillips found a third member for the gang. It turned out to be a man named Brad Snyder. De Santa didn't really trust him, while Trevor hit it off with Snyder in a matter of days. In 2004, the trio is "covered" by an FBI agent. He killed Brad and wounded Michael. Trevor had to flee.

How to change character in GTA 5

The developers of the iconic game gave gamers the opportunity to play as three original characters and one user-created. You can switch between them at almost any point in the game. The only exceptions are the moments when the side task is activated and when the hero tries to escape from the chase.

To select another character in the game, press the F8 key. After that, a wheel with characters that can be selected will appear on the monitor screen. There are 4 slots in total. Three of them depict the three main characters of the game: Michael, Franklin and Trevor. The last slot is empty. It is for a user-created character.

New faces in the game

The game is very popular all over the world, so many craftsmen create character mods in GTA 5. There are many add-ons that make it fashionable to add a number of colorful characters to the game.

Character mods in GTA 5 make it possible to add characters such as Flash, Batman, Hardy Queen, Joker, Robocop and many others to the game. The heroes of the Marvel and DC universes are very popular. There are many high-quality mods, after installing which the game will not crash, and the quality of the textures will remain at a high level.

How to create a character in GTA 5?

The developers of the game were far-sighted, realizing that gamers would eventually get tired of playing the trinity of standard characters and they would want something new. The creators of GTA 5 decided to give this opportunity. The game has a mode that allows the gamer to create their own player.

Of course, playing for Clinton, Philips or De Santa is exciting. But there comes a time when even the most ardent fans of the series want to run around the city, hit cars, beat women and steal a couple of vehicles, running away from the cops, as their own hero. In such a situation, they have no choice but to make a character in GTA 5.

First you need to determine the heredity of the hero. This will affect the look. At first, you only need to deal with the face, and all other elements (beard and hairstyle) can be selected and changed as the game progresses.

Then, in the process of creating a character in GTA 5, you need to choose a lifestyle. The skills and characteristics of the hero will depend on it. The gamer has 24 points, which can be divided into 7 attributes.
