Drawing with colored salt. Drawing with watercolors and salt and glue for children in kindergarten. What techniques are used in the preparatory group

Ksenia Kostyleva

I thought for a long time about what gift to give with the guys on March 8th, and accidentally on the Internet I came across beautiful bottles with colored sand. I was delighted, but didn’t know where to get such sand. In one of the articles they talked about using sand instead of sand. salt(EXTRA, very fine and it turned out to be quite easy to paint.

1. For work we need:

Gouache paints;

- Salt(EXTRA) small;

Funnel;

rolling pin (or hammer);

Teaspoon;

Knitting needle;

Painted jars salt;

Cellophane bags;

Empty bottle.

2. Salt coloring:

First, dilute the gouache in a container with a small amount of water (the more water, the lighter color. The less water, the the color is more intense). Then we pour salt into a plate and pour colored water.

Mix gently salt with a fork so that all the salt was colored.

3. You probably thought about how we will dry salt that turned out. Everything is very Just: heat the oven to 100 degrees and put our molds there for an hour salt.

You can also use a microwave oven, place the molds there for 5-10 minutes at maximum temperature.

If the salt is not dry, leave it in the oven until completely dry.

4. After getting it salt, you will see that the result is dry lumps.

Take a plastic bag and pour it into it salt.

Then roll out on a cutting board salt until then until it becomes crumbly.

For each colors take a separate jar.

5. Once yours are ready colors let's get to the fun part, drawing. Take the required jar or bottle. If you are using a jar with a narrow neck, you will need a funnel.

You fill the bottom of the bottle with a thin layer of white salt with a heap in the center. Then along the edges of the bottle you pour colored salt.

In order to draw anything in a bottle you will need a knitting needle. You carefully run it along the wall of the bottle.

If you took a jar with a wide neck, then you can pour sand around the edges of the tea spoon jar.

This is what happened to me. But I want to warn you so that your the salt is not mixed, you must compact the center with a knitting needle, salt will start to fail after you finish adding salt and close your jar.

P.S. Cover options may vary. They can be made from plasticine, salt dough, sealing wax, coated with nail polish, or decorated with shells.

I think you will like my idea! I wish you creative success!

Every child, learning about the world around him, tries to reflect it in his activities: in play, in stories, in drawing, in modeling, etc. Fine creative activities provide excellent opportunities in this regard. The more diverse the conditions conducive to the formation of a creative environment, the brighter the child’s artistic abilities will manifest themselves.

Drawing with non-traditional techniques opens up wide scope for children's imagination, gives the child the opportunity to get carried away by creativity, develop imagination, show independence and initiative, and express his individuality.

Unconventional painting techniques are a wonderful way to create small masterpieces. It turns out that you can create a salty picture, and your palm can turn into a blue elephant. A gray blot can become a tree, and carrots and potatoes can surprise you with unusual patterns.

For example, with children of primary preschool age you can use:

Finger painting
- drawing with palms
- thread printing
- stamp made from potatoes or carrots.

With children of middle preschool age you can try:

Picture prints
- plasticine printing
- oil pastel + watercolor
- leaf prints
- palm drawings
- drawing with cotton swabs
- magic strings
- monotype.

And with children of older preschool age, you can master more complex techniques:

Drawing with soap bubbles
- drawing with crumpled paper
- painting with salt
- blotography
- plasticineography
- grattage
- frottage.

Each of these unconventional techniques is a little game for a child. Using these techniques allows children to feel more relaxed, bolder, and more spontaneous. These techniques develop imagination and give complete freedom for self-expression.

DRAWING WITH FUN PRINTS

1. Plasticine stamps

It is very simple and convenient to make stamps from plasticine. It is enough to give a piece of plasticine the desired shape, decorate it with patterns (lines, spots) and paint it in the required color. For painting, you can use a sponge moistened with paint, or a brush that can be used to apply paint to the surface of the stamp. It is better to use thick paint.

Materials: 1. Plasticine 2. Pencil 3. Paint 4. Sponge 5. Brush 6. Paper 7. Water jar

2. Thread stamps

To create “striped stamps” you can use threads tightly wound around an object. Using a thick layer of paint, the threads are painted in the required color. Then, using imagination, the “striped pattern” is applied to the surface to be decorated.

Materials: 1.Wool thread 2.Base 3.Paint 4.Brush 5.Paper 6.Jar for water

3. Pictures-prints
You can make prints using foam molds, which are easy to create with a pointed object, leaving indentations in the mold. Then you need to apply paint to the form. A sheet of paper is immediately placed on top of the form and ironed. After some time, you need to carefully remove the sheet of paper. A beautiful design will appear on its reverse side.

Materials: 1.Foam mold 2.Pencil 3.Paint 4.Brush 5.Paper 6.Water jar

4. Leaf prints
This technique is familiar to many. To print a sheet, you can use any ink. Paint should be applied to the side with veins. Then the painted side of the sheet is applied to the paper and ironed. After a few seconds, you need to carefully lift the sheet. An imprint of the leaf will remain on the sheet of paper.

Materials: 1.Leaf 2.Paint 3.Brush 4.Paper 5.Jar for water

5. Prints with potatoes, carrots, apples
Delicious vegetables and fruits can also be drawn. You just need to give them the desired shape, choose the appropriate paint color, paint them with a brush and make a beautiful imprint on the surface to be decorated.

Materials: 1. Vegetable/fruit 2. Paint 3. Brush 4. Paper 5. Water jar

DRAWING BY HANDS

1. Draw with your palms

It is very interesting and exciting to draw with colored palms. It is very pleasant and unusual to paint your pens with bright colors and leave your fingerprints on a piece of paper. Palm painting is a fun game for little artists.

Materials: 1.Finger paints 2.Paper 3.Brush 4.Jar for water

2. Finger painting

You can also draw with your fingers, leaving colorful imprints on the paper.

Materials: 1.Finger paints 2.Paper 3.Pencil/Felt-tip pen 4.Jar for water

DRAWING WITH SOAP BUBBLES

You can also draw with soap bubbles. To do this, add any soap solution and paint to a glass of water. Using a straw, bubble up a lot of foam. Place paper on the bubbles. When the first patterns begin to appear, you can lift the paper. Bubble patterns are ready.

Materials: 1. Glass of water 2. Paint 3. Soap solution 4. Tube 5. Paper

DRAWING WITH SALT

Salt gives the painting intricate patterns. When painting any landscape or vibrant background, salt can be used to give the background of the painting a beautiful texture. The background must be sprinkled with salt while the paint is still wet. When the paint is dry, simply shake off any remaining salt. Unusual light spots will remain in their place.

Materials: 1.Salt 2.Paint 3.Brush 4.Paper 5.Jar for water

DRAWING WITH CRUMPLED PAPER

A crumpled napkin or piece of paper also creates an interesting texture. There are two ways to draw with crumpled paper.
Method number 1. Liquid paint is applied to a sheet of paper. After a short period of time (while the sheet is still wet), a crumpled napkin is applied to the sheet. By absorbing moisture, the napkin leaves its characteristic mark on the surface of the paper.
Method number 2. First you need to crumple the sheet or napkin. Apply a layer of paint to this lump. The painted side can then be used to make prints.
Texture sheets can then be successfully used when creating collages.

Materials: 1. Napkin/paper 2. Paint 3. Brush 4. Water jar

DRAWING WITH OIL PASTEL AND WATERCOLORS

A technique for drawing “magic” pictures using white oil pastels. Any “invisible” pattern is drawn on white paper using white pastel. But as soon as the brush and paint begin to decorate the white sheet, then... children will feel like real wizards when magical pictures begin to appear under their brushes.

Materials: 1. White oil pastel 2. Watercolor 3. Brush 4. Paper 5. Water jar

MONOTYPY

Monotype technique from the Greek. “mono” - one and “typos” - imprint, imprint, touch, image.
This is a painting technique using a unique print. There is only one print and it is impossible to create two absolutely identical works.
There are two types of monotypy.

1. Monotype on glass

A layer of gouache paint is applied to a smooth surface (glass, plastic board, film). Then a drawing is created with a finger or a cotton swab. A sheet of paper is placed on top and pressed to the surface. The resulting print is a mirror image.

Materials: 1. Smooth surface 2. Gouache 3. Brush 4. Paper 5. Water jar

2. Subject monotype

You need to bend a sheet of paper in half. Inside, on one half, draw something with paints. Then fold the sheet and iron it by hand to get a symmetrical print.

Materials: 1.Paint 2.Brush 3.Paper 4.Water jar

BLOCKGRAPHY

The non-traditional drawing technique "blotography" (blowing with a tube) is another magic of creative pursuits. This activity for children is very exciting, interesting and very useful. Just like blowing through a straw improves health: the strength of the lungs and the respiratory system of the child as a whole.
To create a magical picture you will need a large blot on which you need to blow, blow, blow... until an intricate design appears on a sheet of paper. When the strange drawing is ready, you can add details to it: leaves, if it turns out to be a tree; eyes, if you get a magical creature.

Materials: 1.Watercolor 2.Tube 3.Brush 4.Paper 5.Jar for water

NITCOGRAPHY

Drawing techniques using the “magic thread”. It is necessary to dip the threads into the paint so that they are well saturated with paint. Then they need to be placed on paper so that the ends of the thread protrude 5-10 cm from both sides of the sheet of paper. The threads are covered with another sheet of paper. The top sheet is held with your hands. The threads are spread in different directions. The top sheet rises. The unusual picture is ready.

Materials: 1.Thread 2.Paint 3.Paper 4.Jar for water

DRAWING WITH COTTON SWIPS

In the fine arts, there is a stylistic direction in painting called “Pointillism” (from the French point - point). It is based on the manner of writing with separate strokes of a dotted or rectangular shape.
The principle of this technique is simple: the child paints the picture with dots. To do this, you need to dip a cotton swab in the paint and apply dots to the drawing, the outline of which has already been drawn.

Materials: 1. Cotton swabs 2. Paint 3. Paper 4. Water jar

GRATTAGE “DAC-SCRATCH”

The word “grattage” comes from the French “gutter” (scrape, scratch).
To start working with this technique, you need to prepare cardboard. The cardboard must be covered with a thick layer of wax or multi-colored oil pastels. Then, using a wide brush or sponge, apply a dark layer of paint to the surface of the cardboard. When the paint dries, use a sharp object (toothpick, knitting needle) to scratch the design. Thin monochromatic or multi-colored strokes appear on a dark background.

Materials: 1. Cardboard 2. Oil pastel 3. Gouache 4. Toothpick/Knitting needle 5. Brush 6. Water jar

FROTTAGE

The name of this technique comes from the French word "frottage" (rubbing).
To draw using this technique, you will need a sheet of paper that is placed on a flat, relief object. Then you need to start scratching on the surface of the paper with an unsharpened colored or simple pencil. The result is a print that imitates the main texture.

Materials: 1.Flat relief object 2.Pencil 3.Paper

PLASTILINOGRAPHY

A technique that uses plasticine to create paintings depicting semi-volume objects on a horizontal surface. Thick paper, cardboard, and wood are used for the surface (base). To decorate the image, you can use beads, beads, natural materials, etc.

Materials: 1. Plasticine 2. Base 3. Beads/Beads 4. Stacks

the project "Drawing with colored salt" was prepared by Svetlana Vadimovna Krugovaya

Goal setting:

If an adult does not encourage a child’s creativity, does not believe in his fantasies, does not know the peculiarities of thinking, he prevents him from discovering the world. Visual activity, as is known, develops a child’s sensory senses of color, shape, composition, and contributes to the transfer of learned working techniques into free independent activity. If a child is taught to draw a beautiful tree in class, he will be happy to draw it more than once in his free time, but, as often happens, the trees will always be the same. Therefore, it is important not only to equip children with knowledge, skills, and abilities, but also to maximize their creative potential and teach them to see the magical in the most unusual. Introducing children to unusual ways of depicting will expand the child’s horizons, imagination and imagination.

Development of children's creative potential through non-traditional salt painting methods.

· Introduction of atr-therapeutic technologies in working with preschool children, through working with salt.

· Continue to use health-saving technologies when working with salt.

· Introduce children to the properties of salt as a material for artistic creativity.

· Form an idea of different ways of depicting objects and phenomena.

· Arouse interest in the image in a new way of drawing.

· Learn to color salt using colored chalk and gouache.

· Expand children's understanding of the use of several materials in drawing (glue, salt, paints).

· Develop creativity.

Relevance:

In our kindergarten, health-saving technologies are relevant. The use of salt lamps and the use of salt paths as a method of healing has a beneficial effect on the health of children.

The use of salt as a means for creative development prompted us to develop a project on CTD as part of a circle activity.

A child by nature is a creator and explorer. Children's insatiable thirst for new experiences, curiosity, and constant desire to observe and experiment is successfully manifested in both search and artistic and creative activities. In our preschool institution, for several years, project activities with children have been used in the educational process with the active participation of parents of group students.

In my opinion, the main advantage of the design method (this was also evident in the children’s implementation of the “Drawing with Colored Salt” project) is that children are given the opportunity to independently or with a little help from adults:

· Get acquainted with the properties of salt as a food product, and also learn to use salt as a means for creativity.

· Learn to color salt in different ways.

· Apply different drawing methods in one work.

· Unleash your creative potential through learning a new way of displaying the world around you, its beauty and uniqueness.

In addition to program classes in visual arts, additional classes in the “World of Rainbow Colors” circle have a beneficial effect on the formation of creative activity. This is work using unconventional drawing methods, various methods, and materials. In all their diversity, we wanted to find a material that is accessible, easy to use, environmentally friendly, health-saving, and most importantly, capable of awakening a child’s imagination to the maximum. And we found it! Salt, painting with salt. How many sweet moments a little artist can experience while scattering salt to create his masterpiece!

Salt painting, along with the development of children's artistic and creative activity and their imagination, improves fine motor skills of the hands, stimulates speech development, and provides a colossal art therapeutic effect.

This method has several directions:

· Going beyond stereotyped thinking in the color perception of the surrounding world (snow can be pink and the sky yellow), in conveying a form, an image (revive the inanimate and invent the non-existent) contributes to the development of fantasy and imagination

· Different techniques are combined in one creative drawing. Drawing with salt can be in relief, then the graphics take on a picturesque character - the lines when working with salt are unique in width, depth, and shape.

· Intersensory synesthesia occurs: different sensory sensations are combined - you can draw smell, sound, taste...

· A state of psychological comfort is achieved, a feeling of freedom arises, since there is an opportunity to correct or change your work at any time, there is no fear of making a mistake.

Project participants:

Children of preparatory group No. 5 attending the “World of Rainbow Colors” club, teacher Anna Vladimirovna Stebenkova, group parents, art teacher Svetlana Vadimovna Krugovaya.

Presentation of the opening of the exhibition of children's works: “Drawing Salt”.

Exhibition of children's works in the foyer of the kindergarten.

Painting with salt is a favorite activity of children at all times for all ages, from toddlers and older. Glue, salt and watercolor are all you need for this simple project.

Salt painting is an amazing activity. Truly AMAZING!

We've done this so many times over the years, starting when Maria and her friends from the baby art group were still in diapers. And now at 11 years old she still enjoys it (as do I, even though I'm 39!).

If you haven't tried salt painting yet, now is your chance! First I'll share a video where you can see the whole process, then I'll give you a step-by-step explanation for this fun activity.

Materials:

  • Cardstock (thick paper) (any durable surface will do. We used cardstock, marker board, cardstock, watercolor paper, paper plates and foam board
  • PVA glue
  • Table salt
  • Liquid watercolor (this is ideal. If you don't have it, you can dilute food additives)
  • Paint brushes or pipette

How to paint with salt?

1) Squeeze out the picture with glue or design on cardstock.

2) Sprinkle it with salt until all the glue is hidden. Shake the surface lightly to remove excess salt.

3) Dip the brush into liquid paint, then gently touch down to the glue lines covered with salt. Watch the paint “magically” spread in different directions!

If desired, you can use a pipette. But it seems to me that this method will spill a lot of paint at one time. Still, many people like this method.

4) Let the picture dry thoroughly. This may take a day or two.

Once everything is ready, show it off!

Making pictures with salt is the most favorite activity in our house (along with marbling, 3D drawing with Puffy paint in the microwave and splashing paints), as well as all the children I know.

You can use this technique and write names or other words...

Draw a rainbow or a valentine...

...and also depict a landscape, squiggles and scribbles, a face and a bunch of other things!

What about you? Have you already tried to make a picture using this technique with your children?

Drawing on salt in kindergarten. Master class with photos

Gift for graduates: Drawing on salt "Aquarium"

Supervisor: Dergileva Tatyana Aleksandrovna, teacher
Completed the craft: Paptsov Artyom Alekseevich, preschooler. Age 3.5 years.
Place of work: MBOU "Blumenthal Basic Secondary School" village of Blumenthal, Belyaevsky district, Orenburg region.
Goals: learn to arrange images on a sheet of paper, develop aesthetic taste, develop the ability to draw in new ways, learn to create a decorative composition.
Materials and tools:
1. Brush
2. Jar of water
3. Coarse salt
4. Plastic bucket lid
5. Narrow neck glue

6. Watercolors

Purpose: The master class is intended for teachers of preschool institutions, primary schools, tutors, leaders of additional education clubs and parents. It is interesting to draw for children aged 3 years and older.

Manufacturing sequence:

1. Choose a subject for the drawing. You can, if it is not complicated, just paint with glue. Or you can draw with a simple pencil and outline with glue. We draw with a bottle without pressing. The thinner the line, the neater the drawing. Later, due to the salt, the lines will expand. We have drawn fish, starfish and algae. You can draw on paper or cardboard.

2. Remove the glue to the side. Cover the drawing with salt.

3. Carefully pour in the salt. It’s better to pour it onto a tray so that it’s less scattered on the sides.

4. We start painting right away. And here there is a special painting. It is necessary that as much paint as possible is collected on the brush and we lightly touch the salt in the right places. The paint drips and spreads over the salt. You can even use a pipette for this drawing. (Pick up paint and drip)

5. Paint over the entire drawing.

6. Using a damp cloth, carefully remove unnecessary salt residues that have not stuck, but stuck like dust. Our background is dark and this is especially noticeable.

7. Let it dry thoroughly. Using an almost dry brush, paint on small details for expressiveness. You can use gouache. In our drawing, Artyom painted on the eyes.

8. Using a heated awl, pierce the lid. You can ask dad to drill with a thin drill bit. Just don’t pierce it with a nail - the plastic may burst. (Performed by an adult) We thread a strong thread or thin wire and you can hang the work on the wall. It can be used as a gift for graduates from kids.

9. And here are some more works done using this technique on paper and cardboard. Empirically, we found out that it is more convenient on cardboard because... The salt is still heavy and the album sheet bends and threatens to cause the salt to fall off.

We wish you good luck in your drawings! And may your imagination never run out!
